We are an easy, scenic drive from Stowe, Jay Peak, Smuggler's Notch and the Burlington area. Our specially built and maintained access road will bring you directly to our dog center all four seasons of the year. In winter, although the roads are plowed, we encourage 4-wheel drive or snow tires and to allow enough time for road conditions. PLEASE DO NOT use GPS, MAPQUEST or any other computer generated system for directions as they may send you over roads that are not winter maintained!!!!! Cell phone service is unreliable in our remote area. WE want you to enjoy your experience! PLEASE DOWNLOAD directions from our site, use the ones on the brochure OR CALL US at 802-635-9070 or 866-635-9070 and we will happily give you the proper directions to get here safely.

Our 140 acre center is located in the midst of three thousand, gorgeous, Vermont Land Trust wilderness acres in Northern Vermont. On average it takes about 45 minutes from the town of Stowe, fifty minutes from Smuggler's Notch area, an hour from Burlington and twenty-five minutes from Jay Peak. Our Boston guest's travel time is four hours, weather permitting.

Our center, nestled between mountains with beautiful views of the Lowell Mountain range, offers the opportunity to experience country Vermont. The peace and quiet here are incredible. And while we cannot guarantee particular wildlife sightings - depending on the season our guests have seen deer, moose, bear, hawks, flocks of wild turkeys and the many wonderful songbirds that gather here. Along with taking many memorable pictures of the dogs and your experience be sure to have plenty of camera batteries and space on your memory cards for the beautiful views of our setting. Visitors regularly request that their mushers stop so that they can photograph the wonders!

Our trails are specially designed to give a wonderful, fun adventure AND to take in the pleasurable beauty of our natural setting. Please consider coming for a dog sled or dog-sledding-on-wheels adventue any season of the year - you will love it here!
